Research Interest To explore in nature to gain floristic knowledge to make inventory of plant species for the management purpose, to indentify increasingly threatened species for conservation efforts, to understand traditional knowledge about plants for the discovery of new sources of crude drugs, environmental conservation and sustainable development, to understand ecology of medicinal plants for cultivation and propagation, to understand ecology of forest in relation to climate change for the planning, management and conservation of forest resources, to understand the impact of development project on flora, fauna and environment and find out strategies for mitigation and restoration programs, to understand conservation techniques for threatened species conservation either ex situ or in situ.
