  • Participated in the “findings sharing meeting” and finalization of the research report of the Performance and Motivation of health care providers at the HCDP health care centers: a quantitative studyin Amsterdam, Netherlands, during December 2009.
  • Internship at the Princess Royal Hospital, Sussex, England between 20th March and 20th April 1998. The aim of the visit was to gain knowledge and understanding of clinical psychological practices in the United Kingdom. The visit was sponsored by The British Council, Bangladesh and DFID.
  • Havecompleted the “Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR: Level 1 & 2)” training which is a therapeutic model used in the treatment of a wide range of psychological problems especially Trauma Management. The United Nation (UN) sponsored the training workshop. The training was provided by EMDR specialists from U.S.A., U.K., and Mexico.
  • Training on “Child Right Convention (CRC)” organized, conducted and sponsored by the Save the Children-Sweden, held in 03-04 July 2000.

I have worked as a resource person/facilitator/ trainer on various training on Psychosocial Support and mental health care in the following organizations:

  • Action Against Hunger-Bangladesh (ACF): Offered 4 days training on Psychosocial Trauma Management for children and adolescent to Caregivers working for the Rohingya Refugee Camps in Cox’sbazaar (April 2017). 
  • International Organization for Migration (IOM). Group Psychosocial Support for Returnees who were stranded during the Andaman Sea Crisis (2015/2016). More than 2000 returnees received psychosocial support in 83 group psychotherapy sessions conducted in different districts of the country. Offered group psychotherapy support to 30 female survivors of trafficking and exploitation for the same organization (May-December 2016).
  • Children & War Foundation, Norway. Co-facilitator, Training on “Trauma Management for children and adolescent earthquake survivors” (2015) in Kathmandu. This training was organized for caregivers and social workers in Kathmandu, Nepal after the devastating earthquake.
