Teach the course on Petroleum Geology, Economic Geology, Historical Geology, Physical geology and conducting Lab for Petroleum reservoir evaluation, Mineral Identification in Hand specimen and Geological Mapping. Supervision of the thesis and project work carried out by MS students and providing them proper guidance.

Training Workshop on “Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction in South Asia” in collaboration with the SAARC Disaster Management Centre, New Delhi, India. July 9 to July 15, 2009.

INTRODUCTION TO ArcGIS 9.1:

[2] Training course on ArcGIS 9.1 conducted by Columbia University, New York and organized by the Department of Geology, University of Dhaka, Dhaka and sponsored by Fogarty Training Grant.

[3] GROUNDWATER MODELING USING MODFLOW:

International training course on groundwater modeling conducted by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and organized by the Department of Geology, University of Dhaka.

[4] AUTOMATED GEOTECHNICAL TESTING TRAINING:

Training course on Cyclic Triaxial organized by the University of Dhaka supported by Geocomp corporation. From January 20 -27, 2010.

[5] SUSTAINABLE OPERATION OF SEISMOGRAPHIC NETWORKS AND EARTHQUAKE STUDIES IN BANGLADESH:

Organized at the Seismology and Geodesy Laboratory of Department of GeologyUniversity of Dhaka sponsored by USAID, NSF andColumbia University, New York ,USA. 23-27 May 2011.

[7] SEISMIC DATA PROCESSING AND INTERPRETATION:

Training on Processing of marine multichannel seismic data using the software “Vista Seismic data processing (GEDCO)” and Interpretation of marine multichannel seismic data using the software “The Kingdom (IHS)” at the Bremen University, Bremen, Germany. The training program was a part of USAID PEER Science program and also partly supported by NSF BanglaPIRE.
