Worked as Health Economist on “Costing of Health Services Provided by the Primary Level Facilities in Three SSK Pilot Upazilas of Bangladeshconducted by IHE funded by German GFA in March 2012. 

 

Worked as Principal-Investigator on “Patient behavior: the use of drugs- and the revealed people’s preference for traditional medicine in rural Bangladesh, and the phenomenon of bypassing public care facilities-A quantitative study” conducted by Institute of Health Economics Funded by World Health Organization (WHO) From August to December 2009. 

 

Worked as Co-Investigator on “Burden of Malaria and Kala azar in Bangladesh: A Study in Four Endemic Areas” conducted by Institute of Health Economics Funded by World Health Organization (WHO) From March to October 2005.

Worked as Co-Investigator on an evaluation project “Delivery of Health Care through Micro Health Insurance Scheme: An Assessment of the Health Programme of Grameen Kalyan” conducted by Institute of Health Economics Funded by Grameen Bank From April to June 2005. Grameen Kalyan later published the evaluation report on September 2005.

 

Worked as a Research Fellow on “Socioeconomic Status and Childhood Morbidity in Rural Bangladesh: A Case study using Matlab Health and Demographic Data” conducted by Institute of Health Economics & ICDDR,B Funded by Department For International Development(DFID) From June to December, 2003. 

 

Worked as Research Assistant on: “Efficacy of Alternative Poverty Alleviation Programmes in Bangladesh”, a project of CIRDAP, in March, 1998.

 

Completed a thesis on the issue of “an Analysis of The Service Sector Growth in Bangladesh: Cause and Impacts” in 1997 for MSS Examination.
