My research interests revolve around human use of electronic information products and services. I am particularly interested in exploring the factors affecting end-users’ searching of information retrieval (IR) systems and in adopting a user-centred approach in designing user interfaces. My recent research also includes mobile hand-held devices and their implications for information institutions, use of social media, digital libraries, library anxiety, bibliometrics, service quality assurance and impact assessment of rural information provisions.
